Holiday Card Boot Camp - Day 3

Day 3 of Boot Camp was chock full of techniques, and I love a good excuse to use acetate on a card.

Hero Arts/Sizzix - Holly Background (stamp and embossing folder)
Hero Arts - felt trees, gems, acetate
Stampin' Up - Very Vanilla paper and Old Olive ribbon
Spellbinders - circle nestabilities

Holiday Card Boot Camp - Day 2

The challenge for day 2? Make a card with a photograph. I made Christmas cards for 12 years featuring a photo of my dog, Jake. He's been gone for a couple of years now, so I had to borrow the neighbor's dog. Thanks, Clyde, for sitting patiently.

Holiday Card Boot Camp - Day 1

Holiday Card Boot Camp started at midnight, and 23 hours later, I have a card!

It's hard to get a good photograph of a card with shiny parts. This card looks lots better in person.

Paper is all from my scrap pile.
Used 2 embossing folders for the 2 silver strips.
Ornament - Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments 2010
Bell punch - an old one from Emagination
Holly punch - Punch Punch
Stamp is Petite Pairs from Stampin' Up
