Stretch Your Stamps 2, Day 8

Days seven and eight of class presented many ways to use graphic stamps. I used a floral “flourishy” stamp for my card. I decided the rhombus shape qualified this stamp as graphic.

I wanted to try repeated stamping.

Stretch Your Stamps 2, Day 7, Part 2

I’ve been busy making winter cards for Operation Write Home, so I thought I’d use what I learned in class today to make another one.

It looks like I have my seasons mixed up, but OWH will need winter cards soon.

Stretch Your Stamps 2, Day 7

Today in class, we’re stretching the use of graphic stamps. Here’s a clean and simple card. I’ll be duplicating this one.

Stretch Your Stamps 2, Day 2, Part 2

I created another card for the second day of class. Now I’m two days behind.

I wanted to try a technique presented by Laura Sterckx. She’s a 17 year old card maker and blogger. You can see her work HERE.

Stretch Your Stamps 2, Day 2

I used Aztec Gold PearlEx powder to create this background. It was a little rough around the edges, so I trimmed it and added gold paper from my stash for an extra layer.

I was unable to get a good picture of this shiny card.

Zing - gold embossing powder
