Misting and Inking Stencils

One can never have too many cards on hand for AnyHero Mail. I’ll write a note of gratitude in this card, and include it in my next box of cards for Operation Write Home.

I misted the blue stars and the edge of the card and then inked the red stars through another stencil

I created a cut file, and used my Silhouette to make a stencil. Removable adhesive keeps the stencil tight against the card panel.

Next, I sprayed it with Dylusions London Blue ink. (I use a box for spraying. It’s messy stuff.)

The fun part! Removing the stencil!

Stenciled - Inking and Tracing

Online Card Classes has a new class, Stenciled. It’s a mini-class, and it’s chock full of techniques and good ideas.

I combined two of the techniques for my card. I inked the stars through the stencil and then colored over the ink with Inktense pencils.

I created a stencil for my card with my Silhouette Cameo. The flag border is a cut file from the Silhouette online store.
