One can never have too many cards on hand for AnyHero Mail. I’ll write a note of gratitude in this card, and include it in my next box of cards for Operation Write Home.
I misted the blue stars and the edge of the card and then inked the red stars through another stencil
I created a cut file, and used my Silhouette to make a stencil. Removable adhesive keeps the stencil tight against the card panel.
Next, I sprayed it with Dylusions London Blue ink. (I use a box for spraying. It’s messy stuff.)
The fun part! Removing the stencil!
Paper Smooches - Circle of Honor
Simon Says Stamp - 120# base weight card stock
Ranger - Dylusions London Blue Ink Spray, Fired Brick Distress Ink
Silhouette Cameo - cut file
Stampin’ Up - Cherry Cobbler and Black card stock
Fiscars - Postage Stamp edge punch
Heidi Swapp - Confetti stencil

A++ on this one! Any Hero will appreciate receiving this card.
ReplyDeleteI love it and what a great idea!!!
ReplyDeleteNice! I like the blue and red stars and the Dylusions spray ink is very pretty shade of blue. I tried cutting a more intricate design out of an overhead transparency with my Silhouette and make a huge mess, so I think I will stick with simpler designs and use lightweight card stock. Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I love that blue too, it's very vibrant. You make everything look so easy. I still haven't learned my Silhouette the way I'd like to but I'll get there. I'm slower than most when it comes to stepping out of my comfort zone... :)
ReplyDeleteWow, Dixie, I love that stencil you made and wonderful idea using sticky paper. This card is just stunning and one of our heroes will love it, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I really REALLY need to work on my Silhouette skillz.
