We arrived at Jamie's apartment about 2:00 on Friday afternoon. The drive from Topeka to Manhattan was an eye-opener. Fields, pastures, prairies, straight roads, cows, farms, rocks, and wind. The wind is amazing.
Actually.... it's a lot of flat! I have been through there while traveling with John. Your right Dixie, the wind is amazing. Good thing you didn't drive through there during a storm. It took John's heavy truck right off the road!
