Some of the tape refills for this tape gun tend to slip off the smooth roller at the end of the gun. My friend, Amy, discovered a terrific solution to solve the problem.
After:
I cut the circle out of chipboard, the kind you find on the back of a legal pad. It's diameter is a little more than 3.25 inches. The center circle was carved with a craft knife. It's diameter is about 1 inch, a bit bigger than a quarter.
I'd suggest cutting a template first from paper. That way you'll have it for future disks. They tend to get loose when changing the tape, and I change mine often!!
OWH people, email if you have questions!! Happy to help!!
Thanks for the tip! I'm going to have to try this as mine keeps slipping off!
ReplyDeleteI noticed that I also had this problem, but only when I laid my gun down on its side when I was working. I now keep it up on its flat top all the time and the tape hasn't slipped off once.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you liked my idea, Dixie! And good idea to share it too!
