S&S Sketch Challenge #19

Here's the sketch from the Operation Write Home crafty blog, Stars and Stamps:

Here's my entry for the sketch:

I used 2 paper collections, BasicGrey's Basics White and Tim Holtz's idea-ology Lost and Found. I stuck to the exact measurements, but I shifted the position of the pieces to the upper left corner. I also added some paper pieces and some faux stitching. The branch stamp is from Hero Arts and the sentiment is Inkadinkado.

I'm trying to make more cards that are masculine or gender neutral.

  2. Great paper combination. I especially like the lined paper. I agree masculine cards really can be a challenge but when they turn out as nice as this one did it's rewarding.
