Here's my card for this week's sketch challenge on OWH's Stars and Stamps Blog. It was a tricky one! All those 1 inch squares!
I used Cosmo Cricut's Material Girl patterned paper for the 9 squares, and the green dot paper is Bo Bunny. The stitching around the squares is from the Hero Arts "Sew Artsy" set. The sentiment is also from Hero Arts, the "Thinking of You Messages" set.
This is a beauty Dixie. I love the sewing theme and all the patterned papers.
ReplyDeleteI imagine it's often hard for you to get time to actually make cards with all of your packing and shipping duties but you do wonderful work that always inspires me my friend so keep'em coming!
GREAT card! I love the "stitching." What I want to know is your card sitting on a piece of glass over the patterned paper or on a piece of acetate? I like the subtle reflection.
ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous! I love all the different squares of DP and the stitching! It's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis card is beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Dixie! I love the "stitching" and sewing themed papers. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteWonderful job with this sketch, Dixie...I agree it was tricky, especially to be stitching around the squares.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all you do for OWH!
Gorgeous! Great paper choices and the stitching is perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove this card! Reminds me of an old quilt. Love the "stitching" too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful card and a great way to get rid of scraps. TFS
