Week Two, Color Combination

Once again, the color combination was a challenge, but I really like this card. My first "draft" was a regular A2 size card, and the elements just didn't fit on that space. I cut my card base to 4.25 by 4.25 inches and redesigned it.

I cheated a little on the second green, the olive one. I tried lots of other shades to match with the lighter green, and they  were painful to the eye. Scary.

Patterned papers for this card are from DCWV matstacks and a Cosmo Cricket Mini Deck. The lace ribbon is from Stampin' Up, and the stamps and gems are from Hero Arts.

Happy summer!
