Fabulous Dixie! I love typography and I am always drawn to papers with text of any kind on it and the double ties are "just right". I'm going to put this one in my idea file and CASE this layout soon.
Love this! I haven't seen that PP but it sure is a nice choice with the softness of the color. I really like the 2 colors of the ribbon as well. Mind if I CASE?
Gorgeous Card Dixie! I actually own that stamp and made a very similar card in a Memory Box class that Dave taught at my LSS! He's awesome and I'm a big fan of his product line.
You did a fabulous job on this and I also love the other cards below!!
That is a beautiful card. The only reason I would have used 2 bows would be to hide an ink smudge..lol .. but now I will look for a deliberate use for 2! Pat K.
I love the layout and placement on the right hand side for the bird on the branches. The placement of two bows works so well there and matting each section bumps it up a notch. I love the patterned paper, will have to keep an eye open for it!well done!
Your card is awesome! Into my CASE file it goes. I like bird images, but sometimes they look a little plain. The bows really pump up the card. I also love the background paper with the text. Great, great card! Thanks for posting and for being a shipper (I'm a Westie!).
Hi Dixie! Your card has a quiet "zen-like" feeling to it--perhaps it's the look of the bird stamp. I always need that kind of calm during the holidays! And I love love DP with text on it. Your card is definitely going into my CASE file!!
I love this card, 'specially the paper! Need to find some of that
ReplyDeleteBeauuuuutiful! Is this the first try or a second?
