Making Progress!

I'm making progress on my task for the anniversary celebration at Griffin Middle! I finished these badges on Sunday. These are for the staff members who have been there for ten years.

Yesterday, I got all the circles punched and the ribbons glued and cut for the other badges.

My friend Julie came over after school to help assemble. Thanks, Julie!

I'll let these sit over night to give the glue time to get dry. We used a liquid glue on the Gryphons, and of course, it oozes out a bit.

  1. Dixie, I hope everyone appreciates what a huge undertaking this is! I volunteered to make treat bags for Valentine's Day for 62 3rd graders. I don't think the parents had any idea how long it took to make them, and I KNOW the kids didn't! Your badges look really great!

  2. That looks like so much work, but what a fabulous event this is going to be! They're all so beautiful - well done!
