Spring Cleaning and a Sniper

I dove into the closet in my crafty space and discovered several unfinished card kits. Three of the card designs were left over from my shipper days with OWH. The other kit was left over "thank you" cards from 2008 that I used when my mom died. I'll store the Christmas cards until this fall when OWH starts shipping them. The other sets will be donated this week. I'm taking the patriotic ones to dinner tonight with the family. They'll make great Any Hero cards.


Speaking of Any Hero...my nephew and his wife live in an apartment on the second floor of my home. It's nice to have a government trained sniper around to take care of the squirrel population.


On this Memorial Day, we are so happy to have him home!

    LOL Dixie!! I could use him to subdue my squirrel population too. Great to have found a nice group of cards at just the right time of year when donations seem to slow down.

    From the scene behind him it looks like he plugs 'em and throws 'em right on the BBQ. Love the wiggle eyes on that owl.

    The squirrels are in danger in your neck of the woods! Great photo :)

    Had a snort-laugh at the squirrel-sniper story! We're so mundane around here: had the Mole Man come and set traps again. He got him, too. :-) Also love "ducky" and the Dr. Seuss quote.
