Day 5 of our class: use sentiment stamps. One suggestion was to "wrap" the sentiment from the front of the card to the inside. I chose a lawn fawn sentiment, "Flying by to say hi."
I used my Silhouette to cut the card base and the patterned paper. The base was easy, but I had to make some adjustments to get the patterned paper cut. I love a challenge.
Here you can see the card swinging open.
Silhouette - Lori Whitlock's "3d flip swing card circle"
Lawn Fawn - "Flying by" and "Bon Voyage"
SU - "Fan Fair" designer series paper
Memory Box- "Puffy Clouds" dies
Dixie, you really are a great student. I hope you are getting an A+. Love those papers.
ReplyDeleteYou're just shining after taking these classes, and the cards you've been making are dazzlers! This one is so cool with the swinging panel, and I love the background papers too! NJ!

Wow, you've put in a lot of time on that card! I'm curious how long it took from start to finish? It's absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job wrapping the sentiment around. The layout plays so well with not only the sentiment but the image too (as does the paper)
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented. This is a beaut!
