Attaching a Round Card Base

There was a question of Facebook about attaching round cards. Here's my solution.

Cut two identical shapes.

Use a scoring board to score somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 inches. (Score wherever it works best for your shape.) I have my scoring board upside-down because I'm right handed, and I can see what I'm doing better this way.

Here's a picture of the score line.

Fold on the score line.

Put adhesive on the little folded part of the shape.

Here's the important part!! Put your 2 shapes together. Notice the flap with the adhesive is still standing up and not touching anything. Once you have the shapes aligned, simply push the flap with the adhesive down, and it will be perfectly aligned!

And you're done!

  2. I knew about scoring the top edge, but it never occurred to me to line up the rest of the shape before sticking it together. Duh! That is an excellent tip, thank you!
