That's about all my iron is good for these days, too. Nanny's is a lot heavier than mine!
I have an old iron that I use the same way. When it's not flattening something out, it's a lovely eclectic decoration...
Can you imagine actually ironing with that?
I use mine as a door stop. When do we get to see the cards???????

I wish I had something like this to flatten warped cardstock! I put mine into a big heavy book and stack more books on top, but this is so much better and most likely way more effective too!
