I tried a new to me technique, watercoloring with Inktense pencils. I need to get a smoother watercolor paper for this to look right, but I'm posting my card anyway. I'll keep this as my "what not to do" example.

I think it's fine.
ReplyDeleteDixie, your card is beautiful! I don't see anything wrong with it, the tones are perfectly blended and the design is lovely :)
ReplyDeleteYup - I agree with paperella - it looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe bumpy paper adds a little texture to the butterflies. Was the other side of the watercolor paper any smoother? Sometimes it is, but I usually forget to look.
ReplyDeleteLooks fine to me also, we are our worst critics
ReplyDeleteLove the idea. It would make a perfect clean, simple and quick card, too!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great. For some reason when I did mine it didn't look finished until I added some dry embossing with folders...yours however looks perfect!
