One of the techniques in today's class was the the "Chalkboard Trend." Kristina's example was crisp and sharp in keeping with the theme of the Clean and Simple class.
Chalkboards bring a very different memory for this retired teacher. They were messy, very messy. Chalk gets everywhere! Just think, most students today have no idea what a chalkboard is.

ReplyDeleteLove your card, Dixie!
ReplyDeleteThat's so true about kids today not knowing what chalkboards are. How about a way back memory - dittos and mimeograph machines! I used to help my mom who was a teacher with those. I'm a teacher, too, and pretty soon our kids won't even know what dry erase boards are either. Our school is slowly but surely installing "smart boards" in every classroom!
