I cheated on this assignment. There is no green in the color combination for the week, but my card needed green. I did stick to one of the week's sketches though.
I used a technique Jennifer McGuire shared in class to make the background. It's stamped three times using three different inks.
Hero Arts - Dash Pattern background, It's Your Day sentiment, Shadow Inks (Soft Brown and Cup o' Joe)
Clearsnap ColorBox - Frost White pigment ink
Memory Box - Fabulous Phlox
Stampin' Up - card stock
Neenah - white card stock
That background is gorgeous! I love the colors you used for the flowers, too. Very nice!
