Marker Storage

Part of today’s lesson for OCC’s Copic Coloring for Card Makers involved storage. I don’t use my markers on a daily basis, so I needed a system that could easily be moved on and off my desk. I searched for images online using the term “Copic storage” and found several possibilities. 

This was easy to assemble. I found a basket at Michael’s with handles and a nice liner. Make sure the basket has 90 degree angles on the corners and a flat bottom. The florescent light grid, bolts, nuts, and washers were purchased at Lowes. 


I keep my color chart in a plastic bag on top of my basket for easy access.


I cut the light grid into two rectangles to fit the basket. The bolts, washers, and nuts keep the grids stable.


This basket will hold 392 markers.

    Love how they are stored just like the chart. So easy to find just the right marker.

    This came out great Dixie! I don't own Copics but imagine this must be a really affordable storage option compared to many others.
