The mid-month challenge on the Stars and Stamps Blog is to make a love card with no hearts.
I masked the card base to get the strip of color using distress inks. The background stamp adds a bit of interest.
Stacking three "hello" die cuts makes the focal point pop.
Hero Arts - Hello Stamp and Cut, Highline Ironwork Background
Ranger - Shaded Lilac, Faded Jeans, and Chipped Sapphire inks

I just love this final mid-month creation and I'm glad it's in the spotlight. Having begun my OWH journey by first sending cards to you, I'll always remember the respectful and kind way you treated your donors. Your personal notes on the receipts always meant a lot to me, and it's been a pleasure for the brief time that connection lasted! Wishing you well in the future always.
ReplyDeleteDixie, Love your card! Thanks so much for all you've done for OWH over the years. :)
ReplyDeletenicely done!
ReplyDeleteLove the ombre layered over the background stamp - cool effect. Thanks for being "my" shipper!!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I like the colors you used, I wouldn't have thought of adding Shaded Lilac, and it looks great. I think I need that background stamp now.
ReplyDeleteA perfect, no heart, love card! Well done!
