Present Shaker Card

This birthday card is for a friend, and I used her new school colors: purple, black, and silver.

This card is thick! Not only does it have craft foam in the construction, but the bow is layered as well. It will be delivered in person.

I used craft foam to form two layers between the card front and the card base. The foam was cut with one of Lawn Fawn's stitched rectangles stackables, and I cut the window from each piece of foam. Next, I used scissors to cut the grid from the window so I'd have an open space for the sequins and beads.

  1. This came out lovely and your friend will love it, I'm sure. It's always nice to get a lot of dimension every once in a while, Isn't it?

  4. This is such a stunning shaker card - something I've never quite gotten the hang of making yet! I love the colors inside the crisp white cardbase!
