Sparkle and Shine, Day 1

Day one of the Sparkle and Shine class was all about glitter. I am NOT a fan of glitter. I think my dislike of glitter was increased with my time working for and making cards for Operation Write Home. Glitter was a big no-no for cards going to the troops.

 I bought a 6x6 pad of glitter paper hoping it would be less messy, and I guess it is, but there's still flakes of glitter on my work area. MUST VACUUM!

    That's gorgeous. I am surprised that you're taking his class, given your dislike of glitter :-) I was amazed at the precision of the placement of the glitter on this card...until I read about the pad of glitter paper. Very clever!

    Hi Dixie! I also still cringe at the sight of glitter but you worked through your dislike quite well and came out on the right side of the rainbow. This card is gorgeous on line and I bet ever better in person. It makes me want to touch it! Did you get any glitter on your face?
