My new address was posted on the OWH website today, and by 10:00 I already had three emails with questions from card makers and two emails notifying me they were shipping cards this week. I hope I'm ready for this task! I responded to all the emails, and I can tell already I'm dealing with nice people. They carve time from their busy lives to make handcrafted cards for our troops to send home to their families. What a terrific way to support our troops!
This afternoon I went to Scrapbooks & Etc. in Harrisburg to collect the cards from the storage room there. Several of us in the community have been working on cards, but we haven't shipped any since the Christmas deadline weeks ago. I had no idea there were so many cards! Traci, the store owner, just kept finding box after box of cards! I sorted, counted, and then loaded them in my car to bring home. Here they are!

(And ladies at the LSS, that's a Fitz and Floyd Santa on the buffet! LOL!)
I could have told you immediately that was a Fitz & Floyd... now that I have been edgumakated! ;-)
