Today I collected my first packages for OWH. Four packages! Four packages full of beautiful cards for our military heroes to send home to their families and friends.
Here's the "before" picture. I unloaded the boxes and drooled a little at the talent. These cards can be VERY distracting to the job at hand!
- Check the packing slip.
- Email the sender.
- Check for OWH stamp on the back of each card. (All were stamped!)
- Check dark cards for liners. (All were lined!)
- Tuck back card flap into envelopes. (Most had envelopes. I'm waiting for my stash.)
- Sort cards into occasions.
- Do the happy dance
Here's the "after" picture. The island is cleared! Except for that one little card I grabbed from the cards I made for Valentine's day. That one is being sent to Soldier Sam in Iraq. Don't look, Jamie!
