S&S Blog Color Challenge #01: Spring!

The colors for the first color challenge on the Stars and Stamps Blog aren't my usual style, but I thought I'd give it a try. I started this card last night and used a card I made at last month's Stamp Club at Sharon's for inspiration. (Thanks, Sharon!) Anyway, I was surprised to see that my creation matched the third sketch challenge too! I will, however, do another card for the sketch challenge.

Here's my card for the color challenge:

Stampin'Up! card stock, markers, and ink;
Copic markers; Stampabilities stamp;
EK punch; five petal flower punch is so old I can't identify it!

The picture doesn't show the details of the card. I sponged green ink at the bottom of the white card stock to help ground the flower stamp. The punched flowers are layered to add a little dimension to the card.

This is not one of my favorite cards, but I think it meets the requirements for the challenge.

  1. I actually like this card! Totally doesn't seem like "you" to me which says you've stepped out of your box!

    I love that! And I really do like this card! Well done!
