S&S Sketch Challenge #27

Here's my entry for the Stars and Stamps Blog Challenge #27. Nothing like waiting until the last minute to get it crafted and posted! I just hope the deadline is west coast time!

I used a Hero Arts PolyClear set, Simply Handmade, to stamp the shirt pattern onto cream Bazzill paper and again on the patterned paper to cut and piece with dimensionals. I placed those pieces on a rectangle of Real Red from Stampin' Up. All three patterned papers are from a 6 x 6 Material Girl Mini Deck. The buttons were punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

This shot shows the layers on the card. I actually punched 9 buttons to make them a bit thicker on the card. I also layered the tape measure paper on two layers of card stock to give it a bit of bulk.

The red was a bit too bold for me so I gave it a border to tone it down. The "stitching" was done with a white Signo pen. I also did some paper piercing inside the stitching, but it's tough to see in either picture.

  1. Wow, this is a great card! Love every aspect of it. You've totally blown all my ideas of how to use the "Material Girl" paper out of the water. Now I may not ever be able to cut mine! (LOL)

  4. That's adorable. I love the button punches, too. I have that punch but rarely use it, mine punches just a little off center and that makes me nuts.
