Here's my entry for the sketch challenge on the Stars and Stamps Blog this week.
I started the process with these three pieces of ribbon that were donated to my LSS for use with OWH cards. These ribbons are not my style, and I wondered what in the world I could do with them.
I cut a piece of light weight card stock and covered it with adhesive.
Next, I covered the card stock with the ribbon, alternating the colors and placing them on an angle.
Here you can see the covered piece.
I flipped it over and trimmed the excess ribbon.
And this is what I got!
This is a great way to use bits and pieces of ribbon that you have left from other projects.
This is fabulous!!! This is really a clever way to use small pieces of ribbon! I love the color combination of the mostly brown and pink with just the right pop of other colors on the ribbons.

ReplyDeleteThat is a fantastic way to use up small pieces of ribbon and even colored card stock or patterned paper. Thanks for showing us how you did it. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this clever idea to use up those ribbons we don't ordinarily reach for! Any way I can use up my over-flowing stash of ribbons and papers is a good thing! TFS!
