Wow, it's hard to believe a year of sketches at the Stars and Stamps Blog has come and gone! And I didn't even complete half of them! I need to do better! I will do better!
Here's the sketch for this week:

Circles intimidate me, but I prevailed! I looked through the entries posted on the S&S Blog for some inspiration and then designed this card:
Card stock: Bazzill
Patterned paper: from an old book given to me by my cousin, Judi, during a visit to Berlin (I can't read the German, but it's bound to be OK. Judi's a missionary!)
Punches: EK (flowers, circle), Punch Bunch (fern),
Nestabilities: Lacey Circles
Embossing folder: Square Lattice from SU
Stamp: Hero Arts
Cricut: cut lots of 2.75" circles
This gorgeous! me like :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to CASE this card! WOW! I love the text at the top with the plain bottom! Those lacey circles look awesome!
ReplyDeleteWOW this is spectacular!! I love ever single element and you did a fantastic job with the combination and placement of each one. This card is worth of publication Dixie.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love those scalloped circles! :)
ReplyDeleteMiss Dixie, you have outdone yourself. This card is gorgeous! I love the two circles together that way. I immediately went to EK Success to find that flower punch and didn't see it. Guess what? I already own it but haven't ever used it. That's pitiful.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, Dixie! I love the way you interpreted the sketch. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love the color combination!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day and a happy heart,
KC
Gosh, you have such great stuff! I want to come play with it too!
