Chevron "Thanks"

Jennifer McGuire posted a video demonstrating a chevron border, and I just had to give it a try. It's fun to do! This week's challenge on the Stars & Stamps Blog was to make a "Thank You" card, so I've killed two birds with one stone...a new technique and a "thank you" card.

  2. Thanks for posting the tutorial video link to Jen's blog. That looks really cool! Your card turned out great...you really can't tell that those are strips of paper glued together. Amazing!

  3. I watched Jen's video too and thought it looked like a lot of work!! Perhaps one day I'll try it, but your card turned out so great! I just love the kraft background!

  9. I saw that video!! I love the chevron design and your card came out lovely; the color combination is beautiful. You did an excellent job lining up the chevrons too. I am doubly inspired to try this technique.
