My first stop was at Stamper's Alley in Mooresville, NC where I redeemed a gift certificate I won in a drawing! I love that store! (I forgot to take a picture. Sorry!)
My next stop was at Peanut Doodles in Salisbury, NC. This is a new store to me, and one I'll be visiting again on Thursday for a Copic class. I'm really looking forward to that!
They had a nice display of new Hero Arts stamps right when you walk in the door, and of course, I spent some time looking through the HA catalog. Yes, I ordered a few. I had to get the OWH sets!
I wish we had a variety of LSS like you do! I have to travel almost an hour to my favorite one, but it's always worth the trip once I get there! Have fun with your new stamps :)
ReplyDeleteI went up to Peanut Doodles yesterday, too, but I didn't see the giant nutcracker guy outside. I was there around 1pm or so, and didn't buy any new Hero Arts but I did get some Spellbinders and Penny Black I had been looking for. I wish we had been there at the same time - we could have had lunch together. Maybe next time.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to visit Peanut Doodles some day! When I go, I'll be sure to tell them you sent me! ;-)
ReplyDeleteA friend gave me a gift certificate for a stamp store about 2 hours from my house.....yeah, 2 hours....by the time I got there, (months later), it had closed. :-(
ReplyDeleteMajor disappointment. Your local store looks awesome.
How lucky you are to have a choice of LLS. My closest one is 45min. away. Not so good for me, but my husband is happy because he knows I would be there more often:)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
