Stretch Your Stamps, Day 2

Day 2. Use a collage stamp.

I was fascinated with Kristina Werner's technique, and I just had to give it a go. Although I'm not very happy with the card design, I do like the technique. I was just so happy that I was able to follow the steps!

Here's the card, and below it is a picture of the stamp. Believe it or not, no black paper was used to make this card.

Stampers Anonymous - "Papallion"
Hero Arts - "Paris" sentiment, "Blush" layering paper, clear and white embossing powders
SU - "French Script" background stamp
Ranger - summer distress inks
Memento - tuxedo black ink
Neenah - solar white card stock

  3. Great use of the technique. It reminds me of the magic paper where you use a pointy stick to draw on.

  4. That is a pretty cool technique and I like the card. I bet it would be pretty done with softer colors, too. It kind of reminds me of a black light poster - remember those?

  7. I love the colors and artsy feel of this card! It brings back childhood memories of this 'magic board' type of drawing board I had which kept the budding artist in me occupied for hours and hours on end.
