It's time to start making some fall cards for Operation Write Home. I saw a similar card at Peanut Doodles, a crafty store. This is my prototype card for the multiples I'll be making at a crop on Friday. The eye is WAY too big on this bird. I've already cut, stamped, punched, and embossed all the parts to assemble 12 of these. The eyes on the next 12 are more to scale.
MFT Die-namics - Homespun Birdhouse and Stamp Set, Woodgrain Fence
The Cat's Pajamas - Grass
Fiskars - cloud punch
Darice - cloud embossing folder
Viva - Black Pearl Pen
Bazzil paper
I don't know the manufacturer of the leaf punch. It bit the dust and went out with the trash yesterday. Yes, I tried all the tricks to bring it back to life. No luck. They don't last forever.
Adorable! I love the autumn leaves with that cute bird on the fence!
ReplyDeleteYou make it all look so easy. That bird is too cute, but I agree that his eye is a little large. I need that embossing folder, too, please tell me you got it somewhere locally. Ben Franklin, maybe?
ReplyDeleteI kind of like the large eye! This is a great fall card. Sorry your leaf punch bit the dust. I love your cloud embossing folder!
ReplyDeleteA cloud embossing folder? Be still my heart. Gorgeous scene card, Dixie :)
ReplyDeleteMarvelous work! If it makes you feel even a teensy-weeny bit better my bank account thanks you for the fact that you can't identify that little leaf punch but alas that cloud embossing folder is a must have. :)
