Our Daily Bread Designs sponsors a challenge every month for Operation Write Home. They'll donate funds for the postage of 2 boxes of cards to be sent to our military. This month's challenge is to make masculine cards.
Many thanks to my crafty friend, Jackie, for the Silhouette cut file she created.
Basic Grey - Oliver Paper Pad
Hero Arts - "Made with Love" sentiment, white embossing powder
I love this card, the hexagon cut file is wonderful....but you are the one that created it, dear :-) I think I sent you some of mine, but this wasn't one of them - you sent it to me! CRS, I guess.
Marvelous! The white sentiment against that great, dark pattern is great Dixie. I have to stop being so lazy and dig out my heat embossing stuff more often. :)
I love, love this card you created, Dixie! That die-cut panel looks awesome, and I love the plaid pattern behind it. Great choice of sentiment, too -- it suits the rest of the card so well! :D
Definitely a masculine card! I really like the sentiment. Did you add the small cross hashes on the grid paper or was it like that already? Nice subtle accent!
LOVE that sentiment! Awesome card.
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!! Everything about this card is fabulous!!

ReplyDeleteOnce again you rocked the negative image; at first I thought you glued all of those tiny hexagons :)
