Today's class focused on organizing supplies. I think all paper crafters find their organizational solutions evolving. I know mine have changed several times.
I keep my stamps on this shelf. (Holiday and seasonal stamps are stored separately, and I pull them out when I need them.) I usually have cards displayed on this shelf too, but I just loaded them into a box for Operation Write Home.
I've been putting my clear stamps in plastic sleeves. I got the idea from Jennifer McGuire on the Paper Crafts Connection blog. You can find a video HERE. I love this system!
This box holds all my dies. I need to organize them better within the box because I spend WAY too much time flipping through them.

Currently doing the kick start class and browsing the gallery.Looking at your stamp storage I just had one of those ,"Why didn't I think of that?" moments!Fabulous idea to store your stamps like books.Mine are also in a bookcase but are arranged with the index facing out.Your way takes up far less room.So now I can haul out more stamps currently stored in the closet in boxes.Thanks so much for the idea.

ReplyDeleteI wish my room looked that neat and organized. I think I still have too many wood mounted stamps, I need to go through them again and put some away for the used stamp sale. I love the dies in that box - where did you find it? The dividers are perfect for keeping them sorted.

ReplyDeleteI agree that organizing supplies is a constantly evolving thing. More than once I was convinced i had found a perfect solution only to find later that it's less then perfect. LOL I like the clear stamp system and might have to consider this for mine. Thanks for sharing what you're learning Dixie!
