Here's another sketch from the CAS(E) this Sketch blog. This one was a challenge for me because I like my sentiments to be straight.
Here's my card for sketch #11. Yes, I put the sentiment horizontally.
The "holey" paper was created with a Silhouette cut file I made a while back for THIS card. After a few adjustments, I layered two of them to give the card a bit more dimension and to add a little shadow.

love the flower collage. Thanks for joining us at CAS(E) this Sketch!
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to your aversion for sentiments on an angle Dixie. I like how you moved the grouping down too. It has a nice balance in this position against the white space. Love the cut holes too!
ReplyDeleteThe cluster of flowers are so pretty! So glad you played along with us in this week's CAS(E) this Sketch!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card! I just blogged about the same problem (the diagonal sentiment placement!) LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty card. I like the layering of the die cuts, too, to add dimension.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty - love all the texture that the dry embossing and the flowers add! Thanks so much for playing along with this week's CAS(E) This Sketch!
ReplyDeleteLove that little collection of flowers and the punched holes in the background! Thanks for playing along with CAS(E) This Sketch this week!
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely flower cluster! thank you for joining us at CTS ; )
ReplyDeleteWith your flowers, the sentiment would have looked odd at an angle. I really like your take on the sketch!
