Day 4 of the His & Hers class? Make cards for Mother's Day and Father's Day. Kelly Rasmussen showed us a terrific card design. She also used one of my favorite tricks: stacking die cuts. I've never inked the stacks though, but I gave it a try. Messy and fun!
Here are my cards.
A card for Dad.
These next pictures show how the card opens.
Silhouette - cut files from Lobster 1.4 font
Hero Arts - Sending Smiles Messages, patterned paper
Neenah - white card stock
Stampin' Up - card stock
EK - postage edge punch
Tsukineko - Delicata Golden Glitz ink
A card for Mom.

ReplyDeleteLove the button closure!
These are spectacular! I love the way they open and close. I'm starting to wish I'd taken this class.
ReplyDeleteI like the way these open, too. The lobster font really is one of the best for cutting words, and I like the idea of stacking them for more dimension - I always forget that!
ReplyDeleteGreat job. I love the "All hats"
ReplyDeleteset. Don't you just feel like that sometimes?
