Holiday Card Workshop 2013, Day 4

It’s day 4 of class, and we’re using our stamps in creative ways. I used Hero Arts inks, stamps, and papers to create my cards based on one of Shari Carroll’s cards from today’s class. The silver embossing over the trees is a fun technique.

One design…three cards.

I layered this first one on a Tide Pool card base.

Next, I used the Perfect Layers tool to cut the thin layer of Tide Pool card stock before adhering to a white card base.

And finally, a one layer card.

Hero Arts - Joys of the Season (sentiment), Holiday Cheer (tree)
Hero Arts - Shadow Inks: Tide Pool, Green Hills, Pool
Simon Says Stamp - 120# base weight card stock
Ranger - silver embossing powder

  3. Those are very pretty. I love the simplicity of the design. My favorite is the one with the narrow edge of Tide Pool around the main image. I must remember to use my Perfect Layers tool.
