OWH Sketch #233

I’m still using papers and stamps from the Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit. The red and blue striped paper and the typewriter came from the pieces of 12x12 paper I got in the kit instead of the 6x6. I’m glad I discovered a way to use them! WooHoo!

This card is for Sketch Challenge #233 over at Operation Write Home. I turned the sketch on its side for my card design.

After fussy cutting the typewriter, I used a black marker on the edges as well as providing a bit of an outline.

  1. Dixie, love how you flipped the sketch and how you used the SSS card kit papers. Wow, you fussy cut the typewriter... I would have taken the easy way out and used the puffy sticker, [giggle]

  2. Love cards using the typewriter (kids today have no idea how easy they have it....). Great coordination of papers with your image. And you are right, the black around the typewriter really adds definition. :)
