Oh, Deer

I've already made my Christmas cards for this year, but I can't resist making a few extra. I used stamps and dies from Catherine Pooler's Stamp of Approval collection, "Candy Cane Lane."

To make the wreath, I used the MISTI and an octagon grid for square cards. Makes the process easy! These tools can be found here.

I stacked several layers of the deer die to give him some height on the card.

Catherine Pooler - Peppermint Stick Background, Merry and Bright, Hip Holiday (stamps and die)
Prisma Colored Pencils
Hero Arts inks - Cup O' Joe, Wet Cement
Tsukineko - VersaMark ink
Stampin Up - Real Red cardstock
Neenah - white cardstock
Ranger - Super Fine Clear embossing powder
1/8 inch hole punch

  3. OMGosh, I am loving this card....that little stag is stealing center stage on all our cards. And to think I really didn't think much of him until I started seeing him all done up, LOL. Great Card Gal! Can't wait to get started on my Christmas SOA cards!
