My Country, Mit Land

How wonderful that Operation Write Home gets to share a bloghop with our sister organization, Operation Skriv Hjem, in Denmark! This is their first bloghop, so leave them lots of comments! The hop starts HERE. (You should have arrived here from Dorthe's blog, Pipserier.)

Here's my red, white, and blue card, and it's a clean and simple one.

A quick note on the process. I used the Silhouette to cut 4 identical white rectangles with  circles inside. I layered them and tied the twine on either side. Foam adhesive beneath the pennants makes them stand out from the cloud background.

Hero Arts - "Clouds," "Big Hugs" sentiment, Pool mid-tone ink, white detail embossing powder
Carl - star punch
SU Real Red and Night of Navy card stock, designer series paper
Neenah - solar white card stock
WeR - twine
Silhouette

Your next stop on the hop is Gitte. You can find her blog HERE. Wow! She's talented!

Here's a sketch for my card. Thanks, Paula, for making the sketches!
